2010 La Vinyeta "Heus" Blanc Empordá

SKU #1088808

In relatively high altitude vineyards located on the rugged Catalan coast north of Barcelona (Dali, in fact, lived not too far from here), La Vinyeta cultivates a variety of vines, in addition to running a fully operational farm, with the rare Catalunya government "producción integrada" certification. For this classic, lighter, Mediterranean white, Macabeo, Muscat, Garnacha Blanca and xarel-lo (all indigenous) combine to make a delicious, fresh, citric wine for quaffing on its own or with simply grilled seafood. It's a simple, but tasty wine that will transport you to Cadaques or any of the other beautiful Catalan towns located in the region.

This is a wine for those who are not afraid of acidity. It is very light, very bright and very delicious. A perfect aperitif; if this doesn't wake up your palate, your palate is just not going to wake up! Lots and lots of citrus pair this also with simply prepared seafood.
