It possesses plenty of richness and body, with expressive white peach and flower notes that flow through to the long finish.  *Outstanding* (from Montmains proper; 40% 2 and 3 year old oak). A fresh, bright and relatively elegant nose features floral, roasted nut and orange peel aromas that give way gracefully to rich, indeed almost opulent medium-bodied flavors that could pass for a Meursault save for the iodine character on the mildly austere finish. I very much like the silky texture and solid mid-palate concentration. Worth considering and this well-balanced effort should age well.  (10/2011)
