2002 Le Dome, St-Emilion (Previously $100)

SKU #1076005

90 points Wine Spectator: "Pretty berry, cherry and chocolate aromas and flavors. Medium- to full-bodied, with well-defined tannins and a vanilla and berry aftertaste. Silky. This is a new small-production wine from the hillsides of St.-Emilion near Château Angélus. Lots of potential. Shows style. Best after 2006. 750 cases made." (05/05) According to Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, May/Jun 05: "Red-ruby. Captivating aromas of red berries, flowers, truffle and nutty oak. Deep, sappy redcurrant, plum and leather flavors offer lovely sweetness and a firm edge of acidity. Finishes long, with complex flavors of redcurrant, plum, smoke, gravel and leather. Today I prefer this to the 2003 for its sweetness and freshness of fruit."
