Gazela Vinho Verde

SKU #1069784 Wine & Spirits

Rather than ferment after harvest, the Sogrape team preserves the must for Gazela in tank and ferments lots throughout the year to meet demand. This strategy allows them to offer a fresh, lime-tinged wine all year long. It has Vinho Verde's classic spritzy feel and honeyed peach finish. A brisk and gentle white for summer. (8/2011)

Wine Enthusiast

A fresh, uncomplicated wine, made and sold in large quantities. There is sweetness, along with clean, easy lemon fruits and a touch of acidity. Don't think, drink. (7/2006)

Wine Spectator

Light and fruity, with some nice peach and green apple flavors and a slight spritziness. (8/1997)

Summer is upon us. In Southern California we need a pool side white! Gazela is the ticket. Amazing price, for a classic Vinho Verde. Aromatic with tropical fruit and citrus notes. Don't forget that great Vinho Verde fizz that makes it so refreshing on those hot summer days.
