2009 Comte Louis de Clermont-Tonnerre (Alain Corcia) "Cuvée André Eleazar" Châteauneuf-du-Pape
90-93 points Robert Parker: "The 2009 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvee Andre Eleazar (named after Corcia’s father, who passed away in 1978) is an equal part blend of Mourvedre, Syrah, and Grenache. This is his most structured, masculine, and ageworthy wine, with a dark plum/purple color and sweet notes of fresh mushrooms, tree bark, blueberry, black raspberry, and cherry, as well as some licorice and charcoal in the background. It is medium to full-bodied, relatively tannic, and needs a good 2-3 years of bottle age. It should drink well for 10-15 years. (10/10) 14% abv.
