2007 Patrick et Christophe Bonnefond "Côte Roziers" Côte-Rôtie (Pre-Arrival)
92-94 points Robert Parker: "A brilliant effort, especially considering the vintage, is the dense ruby/purple-colored 2007 Côte-Rôtie Côte Rozier (100% Syrah). Pen ink, graphite, black raspberry, blackberry, flower, and frying lard notes are present in this wine. Superb richness, full-bodied power, good depth and length suggest it will drink nicely for 12-15 years." (04/09) 92 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: " Inky ruby. Intensely perfumed scents of cassis, cherry compote, smoky minerals and violet. Showing more vivacity than it did from barrel last year, offering sweet dark berry and floral pastille flavors and good spicy lift. Finishes with repeating berry notes, solid grip and impressive tangy persistence." (Jan/Feb 2010) ETA: June 30, 2010.
