I'm not sure if it's the additional time in bottle or if this a new batch, but this is now tasting better than I've ever seen it before. Perfect balance between the complex baked apple aromas and the snappy savory palate. Subtle spice and hints of brioche come soon after. A truly special wine to show off with, but with out the Tete de Cuvee price tag.

The elegance and finesse jump out of a glass of the Dom Picard Blanc De Blancs, with complex aromas promising what is to come. Dry, yet round with layers of flavors, this Champagne reflects both the Chardonnay grapes from Grand Cru vinyards and the care in the aging.From a small grower producer, this is well worth the price.

- It's hard to believe that up until about 30 years ago, this extremely popular varietal hid behind the veil of geographical names like Chablis and Puligny-Montrachet.
