My wife and I drank the Sete Cepas last night with shrimp tacos she made from a recipe in "Real Simple: Meals Made Easy". The combination blew our minds... the wine perfectly complimented the sweetness of the shrimp, the smoky, earthy flavors of the roasted tomatillo salsa and the richness of the sour cream sauce. We also discovered after dinner that this wine is not only food-friendly, but also sippin' friendly--enough, but not too much acidity, and some interesting flavors going on. It was far too easy to polish off the bottle. In fact, I'm back on this page for the express purpose of ordering two more!
