Supple, fine, lightly sweet, this is darn nice cognac for the money. The middle has a nice buttery texture and boasts plenty of flavor, with ripe pear, baked apple, golden raisin and warm, dry vanilla, but it finishes without any heaviness. This one’s for sipping, though; don’t go trying to make a sidecar with it. The motorcycle will zip off without you.
