Sarticious Gin (750ml)

SKU #1000424

Now produced in Santa Cruz and there will be articles regarding this lovely gin in Celebrator Magazine and American Distiller Magazine. There is no thing better that local, hand crafted spirits! To the people who make Sarticious Gin the name means passion and creativity. A commitment to the artful blend of the best juniper berries, organic orange and cilantro, and other fresh botanicals. It means small batches created with pride in a handmade Jacob Carl copper pot still. A very personal gin one that we love to drink, love to share. To the people who enjoy Sarticious Gin, it means a different kind of passion. A passion for the gin’s essence complex, lively but not overpowering, which all unfolds on the palate. Neat, shaken or chillin’ over ice, Sarticious is sartorial, luscious.

I've been in a Negroni phase lately and this gin from Santa Cruz, CA leans more towards the citrus rather than the herbal, which fits perfectly with the twist of orange I add to my Negroni. Gin and tonics as well. Or straight down the hatch. The only other gin I will drink in addition to the Anchor. Good stuff.

Rather that Vodka (which has always puzzled me with its celebration of the *absence* of flavor) - I prefer Gin, a product that takes its addition of select botanical flavorings very seriously. The Sarticious brand above features a slight round creaminess and distinct citrus notes, which keeps the classic juniper tang from being too harsh or medicinal. Produced locally, it makes a short trip from Santa Cruz to K&L to my eagerly waiting ice and tonic!

United States

- When people consider domestic wine, they normally think about the state of California. The fine viticultural Region within California, including the Napa Valley, Sonoma, Santa Cruz Mountains, Mendocino and Santa Barbara, are capable of growing grapes of world-class quality. But there's plenty of fabulous wine coming from other states, too. Oregon, Washington and New York are also causing eyebrows (and glassware) to be raised around the world.
