2015 Chateau de la Noblesse Bandol Rosé
Review Date: 08-03-2016
This Bandol Rose’ from Chateau de la Noblesse is delicious! This wine is clean, complex, and elegant. The purity of fruit of strawberries and tangerine zest compliment the dry mineral notes and lively acid. This wine will go great with lighter foods and also delicious on its own. Stock up on this. You won’t be sorry!

2015 Château de L'Aumerade "Cuvée Marie-Christine" Côtes de Provence Rosé
Review Date: 07-01-2016
A Provence rosé at this price?! This is just silly. Wonderful aromas of orange zest, white cherries, and flowers which continue on the palate with strawberry and raspberry notes. This wine is balanced out with that distinct Côtes de Provence minerality and fresh, medium-plus acidity. Definitely a rosé to stock up on to enjoy anytime!

2012 Joseph Swan "Bastoni Vineyard" Russian River Valley Zinfandel
Review Date: 03-14-2016
If you crave the Zinfandels of the past with a little more balance and less alcohol, the 2012 Joseph Swan “Bastoni Vineyard” Zinfandel is made for you! Joseph Swan has only been making a few vintages of Zin from this vineyard, but they know how to showcase the grapes well. This wine has sweet blue fruits with fresh acidity to keep the fruits balanced without being jammy. There is a wonderful savory note to this wine as well as baking spices like nutmeg and white pepper. This is a complex Zinfandel that will complement food well!

2013 Mt. Hector Pinot Noir Wairarapa
Review Date: 01-12-2016
Extra! Extra! This is the hottest Pinot Noir deal around! Every time I taste this wine, I can’t believe the price point this is selling for. The 2013 Mt Hector Pinot has layers of complexity and a long finish. The aromas are full of cracked black pepper and dried purple flowers. Flavors of flinty minerality, with an earthy underbrush note, and baking spices add wonderful layers that are not common with Pinots at this price. The palate has mouth watering acidity with juicy black cherries and plum carries on through the finish. Pinot Noirs at this price are usually lacking complexity or not palatable. This is the BEST exception I have ever tasted. I highly recommend buying this by the case before it is gone!

Bruno Michel "Rebelle" Extra Brut Champagne
Review Date: 04-18-2014
The Bruno Michel “Rebelle” offers much more richness than most Extra Brut Champagnes, and with the lovely acidity and minerality characteristics, this makes for a great sushi pairing! The Rebelle will delight your palate with the crisp acidity and luscious apple type fruits. If you like sushi, I highly recommend pairing the two! It goes great with yellow tail, salmon, spicy tuna and many other types of seafood, but it is the wasabi and soy sauce that really makes the pairing special. Don’t hesitate -- treat yourself to sushi and this Champagne tonight!

2008 Bruno Michel "Les Roses" Brut Rosé Champagne
Review Date: 10-17-2013
The Bruno Michel Les Roses will speak to red wine lovers. The characteristics are so similar to a Pinot Noir such as ripe cherry, orange peel, earth and spice. This has the stuffing to pair with many foods. While this is not a Champagne for every palate, it is a special treat for some of us!

2008 Bruno Michel "Les Brousses" 1er Cru Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne
Review Date: 09-25-2013
The Bruno Michel Premier Cru Brut Blanc de Blancs is a Champagne that continues to stand out in our staff tastings. I’m in love with the crisp and bright citrus and apple notes. There is a note of toasted bread, but it is well balanced in focused and complex Champagne. Perhaps the best part of this Blanc de Blancs is that it tastes like it should be drank during a special occasion, but priced to drink on any occasion.

2010 Cantemerle, Haut-Médoc
Review Date: 09-20-2013
For as young as this wine is, it is already showing its great potential. This wine is already displaying elegant floral aromas and blue fruit, with integrated juicy tannins. I look forward to laying down the 2010 Cantemerle for a minimum of 5 years, and enjoying it for many years following!
