Customer Reviews - Ross Myran

This stuff is top notch. For the age of this whisky, I initially thought the price was a bit high, but it carries it's weight very nicely and satisfies. I'll be buying it again. No question.

For only $20, you absolutely can't go wrong with this whisky. For me, it's a "later in the evening" kind of malt. After you've gone through a dram or two (or five) of Kilchoman, Bruichladdich, or even Glenlivet, pour yourself a dram of this affordable whisky and you won't be lacking for goodness. Its better than Johnny Walker red and black, it's better than Chivas. A must have burner bottle at this price. My rating is based on the quality of the whisky and the value here.

This malt is terrific. At this price point, it's the hottest bottle in the store and I don't think another comes close. For me, this dram screams "cereal"! It's sweet, smooth, grainy, and breakfasty. Like glorious liquid Crispix. Seriously.
