Ariston Aspasie "Carte Blanche" Brut Champagne

SKU #993861

Now with the Aspasie label. Our best deal in bubbles? No doubt many on our staff would say yes! It is made of 40% chardonnay, 30% pinot noir and 30% meunier. A balanced cuvee in every way, this Champagne is clean and powerful at once. The length of this little bottle of bubbles proves to me the class of its origin, the small commune of Brouillet in Champagne. No bottle in our inventory transports me to Champagne like this one. It is as true to the terroir and as pure as anything I could wish for! Don't settle for an imitation, buy the real thing--and for less! -(Gary Westby, K&L Champagne Buyer)

Yes, this is it! A balanced Champagne not too light, nor yeasty. This is an elegant bubbly tasting just right on the palate. For the price, this is clearly a winner! Drink one tonight and keep another bottle on stand-by, for special occasions!

Traditional notes of wheat toast, brioche, freshly cut apples and apple skins rise from the glass on lively, persistent bubbles. The palate is beautifully balanced with baked apple, a dusting of brown sugar, and citrus rind all rounded out with a touch of toastiness. A great value in Champagne.

Champagne for the people! Every time I pour this wonderful Champagne I know it blushes at me. A slightly pink hue encompasses a wonderfully dark straw color. In my house, this is the Champagne that can never be far from reach. I have always been impressed by the color of the Carte Blanche, as well as its subtle, creamy nose and the fruity, yeasty feel of its wonderful fruit. Two bottles, six bottles, an entire case you say? It may be enough to get me through until the nest boat arrives from France! Don’t miss this one!

I can give this no better recommendation, working for K&L I have a lot of choices, and this was the wine for my wedding. You'll always find it in my cellar and I love this Champagne.

Clean, powerful, full of flavor, and loads of refreshing acidity. The Ariston is great gateway into the world of Champagne because, like a great wine should, it truly reflects its terroir: the chalky white soil in which it is grown.

Champagne

- The French region of Champagne (comprised of the towns of Rheims, Epernay, and Ay) was the first region in the world to make sparkling wine in any quantity. Today, the name of the region is synonymous with the finest of all sparkling wines, and winemaking traditions of Champagne have become role models for sparkling wine producers, worldwide. Surprisingly, the region of Champagne is now responsible for only one bottle in 12 of all sparkling wine produced. Styles of champagne range from the basic brut (often blends of several vintages), single vintage champagnes, and rose. View our bestselling Champagne.
