Bradford Mountain is a unique microclimate due to its elevation, 1000 feet above the valley floor. Here the hillside vineyards provide better exposure, a thinner, more well-drained topsoil, and rocky crevices where vine roots can anchor. As a result, the vines yield a smaller, more intense crop, and a wine which develops sublime, elegant flavors over time. The Belvedere is a dark, juicy cabernet with lots of mineral, cassis and chocolate elements. A good buy for Cabernet under $20.
