The Rockpile Vineyard is 2000 feet above sea level on the historic Tennessee Bishop Ranch. It is the highest vineyard in the exclusive Rockpile appellation between Lake Sonoma and the Pacific Ocean. The shallow rocky soil, long sunny days and temperate nights are ideal for cultivating intense, dense, complex Bordeaux varietals. Open top fermenters with submerged caps coupled with duel temperature fermentation, add richness, balance and character to this exceptional wine. 88% Cabernet Sauvignon. 8% Petit Verdot and 4% Merlot.
