The dramatic countryside of Pic St. Loup in Southern France's Languedoc wine region considered to be one of the most quality driven wine regions in the South of France. It is also the home of Christophe Peyrus and his property Clos Marie. This is a small family owned estate run along organic lines which has garned rave reviews from the French and British wine press over the last few years. This robust red is a blend of syrah, mourvedre and grenache given fourteen months elevage in vat and barrel. Wonderful food wine!
