2003 Limoux Rouge Domaine de Baron 'Arques (was $34.99)

SKU #1018525

This grand red from the south of France is composed of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Malbec and Syrah. It is a brilliant and deep red with a cherry tint, and displays a refined and fresh bouquet, with elegant floral notes (peony, rose) together with touches of candied orange peel, caramel and cocoa. Round on the palate, with velevety tannins of great refinement and distinction, it displays a minty freshness and intnese flavors of black licorice, blackcurrant and cinnamon. The finish is ample and long, showcasing the complexity and refinement produced by this unusual blend of six varietals. Drink 2006-2010.
