This fabulous value Merlot (with 7% alicante) has a softly floral aroma and dark ruby color. But in this vintage, the fruit is more defined and forward with hints of spice, cherry and toasted oak in the nose. In the mouth there are rich flavors of dark cherry, cocoa and a slightly oaky aftertaste. Enjoyable upon release, this Merlot will gain complexity with two or three years of cellar aging.
