Farmhouse ale of the kind produced all over northern Europe predates California's microbrews by about a thousand years. This one made by at an actual French dairy farm goes particularly well with the local goats' cheese (or any goats' cheese you can find stateside). Neither overly hoppy nor light and quaffable, it is a beer made to go with food for those few nights a month when it is something substantial and brewed you desire, rather than something cerebral and fermented.
Below is a listing of the wine review scores we frequently reference in our notes. While these sources remain an excellent source of information, we always recommend that you trust your own palate.
