This Viognier comes from the Vista Verde Vineyard located in the hills just north of the Pinnacles in San Benito County. The grapes were hand-picked, whole cluster pressed and cold fermented in small French oak barrels. This wine has undergone partial malo-lactic fermentation and was aged sur lies for nine months. A great introduction to Viognier, if you have never tried one. And if you are already a fan of this Rhône native, Vinum's will not disappoint.
