91 points Wine Enthusiast: "Textbook Napa Cab, blessed with ripe cassis-scented fruit and hints of mint, toast and dusty earth. It’s velvety and rich in the mouth, picking up notes of chocolate and vanilla on the silky-smooth finish." (02/04) A new name and package for the Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Napa Cabernet! Artemis was the goddess of the fields and the hunt in Greek mythology. With more estate fruit in the blend, the 2001 Artemis shows deep, concentrated fruit, a full, round mid-palate and firm yet ripe tannins on the finish. This wine is balanced and shows excellent length. The wine will probably be at its peak in 5-7 years.
