2011 Tormaresca "Neprica" Puglia
Review Date: 4-18-2014
What? $7.99 for all this wine! On the nose, red fruit and spice lead to a touch of chocolate as this steal of a wine opens up. The palate displays a nice intensity of dark cherry with low tannins that lead to a smooth finish. Very well balanced and very food friendly, especially with red-sauced dishes. Works just as well with meat or veggies in the mix.
2010 Castello di Monsanto Chianti Classico Riserva
Review Date: 3-10-2014
This was my first introduction into Italian wines. I have loved Chianti ever since. This particular vintage is the best I have tasted. This is text book Tuscan earth. With a richness of spice and black cherry. It is worthy of any red meat or roast you can throw at it! So if you are going to pick up just one bottle this is the one. Trust me you will be back for more.
2012 Blason Pinot Grigio Isonzo (1L)
Review Date: 3-7-2014
Move over Grüner! You are not the only liter in town. Great aromatic's of floral and Autumn fruit. Wonderfully round mouth feel and succulent acidity. This is the perfect poolside wine!
2010 Montechiara Amarone
Review Date: 12-16-2013
Happy Holidays!!I LOVE Amarone! Not a lot of wine can you use the words. Big, powerful and elegant. Well, that is what you are getting in this wine. Firm but balanced tannins and very fine acidity help round out the flavorful finish. This traditional blend of Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella grapes that are partially air dried prior to ferment. Once again big, rich, saturated style of wine ready for some hearty winter fare. At this price we will go through this wine before the first nip of winter. This wine can hold up wonderfully for the next 10 to 15 years. So buy it by the case!
2008 La Monacesca "Mirum" Verdicchio di Matelica Riserva
Review Date: 12-16-2013
First thing that grabs you is the wonderful golden hue in the glass. You know you are in for something special! Nose opens up to herbal and citrus notes of rosemary and lemon zest. Lovely array of mineral and sea salt which makes it ideal with anything from the sea. May a stuffed Branzino await you!
2012 Renacer Punto Final Classico Malbec
Review Date: 7-8-2013
In a sea of Argentina Malbec's you would be hard pressed to find one with this quality and value! Smoked spice, blackberry and crushed violet on the nose. On the palate it is soft, round and lush! Great notes of blackberry, blueberry, cassis and spice. Nothing over done with this wine. Super long finish with balanced tannins and acidity. All this for $9.99!! Buy it by the case.
Carpano Antica Formula Sweet Vermouth 1L
Review Date: 7-29-2012
One thing I learned in my twenty years of bar tending is. The better the ingredients, the better the drink. So, if you are making a Manhattan or one of those crazy whiskey drinks from your local mixologist. Keep the Carpano on hand. It make's any cocktail, ten thousand times better! You will not find a better vermouth!
21st Amendment Brewery "Bitter American" IPA, California 12oz Cans
Review Date: 5-28-2012
I am Over hopped beer's. Enough already! So, when I open up the 21st Amendment's Bitter APA I was not expecting much. Nice burst of citrus in the beginning. Well balanced hop's and malt. A great bitter finish. One more bonus 4.4 percent ABV. So I can have more than one.
Scrappy's Grapefruit Bitters 5oz
Review Date: 4-30-2012
It's citrus time at the Hollywood Farmers Market. There is nothing better on a lazy Sunday than a greyhound! This grapefruit and vodka cocktail is an ideal choice for a summertime brunch. The beauty of this mixed drink is in its simplicity. But, I like to spice mine up with a little Scrappy's Grapefruit bitters. It is that little extra that goes a long way!
2009 Roland la Garde Tradition, Premières Côtes de Blaye
Review Date: 3-29-2012
I love the 2009 Bordeaux. Great, big red fruit! Roland wine has seamless structure. A beautiful balance of acidity and oak! I could have this with food or just on it's own. Do believe the hype!

2004 Miguel Merino Gran Reserva Rioja
Review Date: 1-8-2012
This was such a hit at my recent tasting!! This bottle went up against some of the major house's in Rioja and Ribera del Duero. Thanks to Joe this is a direct import for K&L! From three vineyards, two planted in 1931 and the third “La Loma”- planted in 1946. Only the best hand harvested grapes go into this bottle. Beauitful sweet red fruit and a great backbone minerality! Perfect for any pork dish! Enjoy!

Deligeroy Crémant de Loire Brut Rosé
Review Date: 2-3-2011
This is well-balanced in the mouth and enhanced by a fresh but subtle finish. It also has tiny little bubbles, which always makes me happy! I love Cabernet Franc for sparkling wine, it has some great body and lovely fruit. For the price, buy a case!
