2010 Brewer-Clifton "Mt. Carmel Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay
Review Date: 3-21-2013
This Chardonnay showed a bit brighter and more focused, presenting plenty of ripe stone fruit, citrus, and mineral quality from the clay and limestone soil. This chardonnay, while showing its youth, has plenty of structure and intrigue. Great wine to lay down for a few years.
Price: $49.99
2010 Brewer-Clifton "3-D" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir
Review Date: 3-18-2013
This is quite an intriguing bottle of wine with plenty of depth and character. It starts with nice bright red cherry and savory spice. The whole cluster green notes show which lends a floral herbaceous quality as well. Green tea, rose hips, and fine tanins round out the 3-D Pinot Noir and make for a very interesting bottle to forget in the cellar for a few years!

2010 Brewer-Clifton "3-D" Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay
Review Date: 3-18-2013
This wine is all about texture. The creamy and weighty yet focused and balanced palate blew me away even after the glass was finished. Clean tropical fruit, mild toast, and citrus notes on the finish really compliment the vibrant acidity throughout. This bottle will continue to develop for some time.
Price: $39.99
2009 Two Sisters "Lindsay's Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir
Review Date: 3-18-2013
Made with 667 & 777 clones aged in 20% new french oak for about 18 months. This is a very crowd pleasing wine! Rich black cherry and spicy wood notes are persistent throughout. Well balanced pinot at half the release price!
Price: $29.99
2009 Tatomer "Kick-On Ranch" Santa Barbara County Riesling
Review Date: 3-18-2013
From a NW facing hillside vineyards north of Santa Rita Hills comes this fantastic dry Riesling offering from Tatomer. This has a beautiful floral nose with melon and citrus notes. Richer than the "Sisquoc" bottling, this has a viscous mouth feel with lavender, pear, and apricot intermingling with a saline streak persistent throughout the wine. Beautiful.
Price: $28.99
2009 Tatomer "Vandenberg" Santa Barbara County Riesling
Review Date: 3-18-2013
This wine consists of 90% Kick On Ranch and 10% Sisquoc grapes. This is definitely the biggest wine of the three Tatomer Rieslings we tasted with persistent notes of lychee, apple, and pear, floral notes, and a spicy kick and lingering finish. Aged in stainless steel and nuetral oak, this wine is fresh with bright acidity while the botrytis from the second picking gives it a hint of sweetness and weight.
Price: $23.99
2011 Angeline Pinot Noir
Review Date: 1-30-2013
True, well blanced Pinot Noir from California for under $12 is a rarity. Angeline fires on all cylinders. Great dark cherry and raspberry fruit, earth, and a touch of spice. Great value!

2011 Erik Banti Morellino di Scansano
Review Date: 1-30-2013
All three Erik Banti wines stunned the whole staff with their stunning quality and ease of pairing with food. Then we learned the prices and were floored! Floral, red berry fruit, lighter weight and tanins make this a great bottle for any weeknight meal.

Logsdon Farmhouse Ales "Seizoen Bretta" Saison, Oregon 750ml
Review Date: 12-31-2012
David Logsdon, the old Full Sail brewer/partner, really hit his stride with these beers. Clean and delicious, the brett really adds a great dry, complex finish to the bright citrus and pear (bottle conditioned with pear juice for natural carbonation) notes. Outstanding beer!

1979 Glenfarclas K&L Exclusive Single Barrel Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky 750ml
Review Date: 12-31-2012
Clean, pure, incredible. I believe every other adjective has been used to describe this bottle by my colleagues but it really is that delicious! Any scotch lover can appreciate this for the depth and complexity offered while not treading into the extremely sherried or peated side that can really turn a whiskey lover off!

2010 Domaine des Nembrets Denis Barraud Pouilly-Fuissé "Clos de la Combe Poncét"
Review Date: 12-26-2012
As mentioned, this is an interesting wine from an interesting property Denis Barraud has direct control over. Old oak lends more than enough spice and richness to the wine, balancing nicely with the mineral vein persistent throughout. This bottle will last quite a few years and is a serious deal!

2009 Unti Vineyards Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel
Review Date: 10-31-2012
20% new french oak. The nose is full of classic, brambly raspberry and boysenberry fruit. Very well focused and not too jammy, this is a solid, well balanced Dry Creek Zin offering.
Price: $25.99
2011 Pascual Toso Malbec Maipu Valley
Review Date: 10-31-2012
As mentioned in the previous review, this wine has gone up a couple bucks. That said, it is still one of the best deals in Malbec! More of the great blueberry, cherry, and vanilla spice of the previous vintages with a little more depth. It is a crowd pleaser at any party!
Price: $11.99

Fermented in stainless tanks with 10 months on lees for texture. No Malo. Green apple and pear notes, bright acid and citrus finish. Toasty yet restrained and very well balanced. Beautifully made chardonnay and an absolute steal at $20.
