2011 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (1.5L) Pre-Arrival
Review Date: 5-17-2012
Compact. This wine’s tight palate is dense and concentrated, with a sweet core of black cherry and black berry fruit, lots of structure and power. Very dense, but the tannins are integrated and fleshy. 92-94 points.

Good fruit, very fresh, lively. A bit light, but clean and not green. Elegant. Good Value! We tasted this three times, and it was very good all three times.

2010 Robert Mondavi "To Kalon Vineyard - Monastery Block" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon Pre-Arrival
Review Date: 3-20-2012
A definite cellar trophy when only 20 cases were produced. This wine shows amazing concentration, depth and complexity. The mid-palate is seamless and round while the finish shows ripe fruit tannins that are firm and integrated. The concentration and balance of this wine lead me to believe that it has a long life ahead of it!

2010 La Conseillante, Pomerol Pre-Arrival
Review Date: 12-1-2011
One of the best wines of 2009, this is another solid effort from La Conseillante. Shows even more freshness and structure than the 2009, but it is not as opulent. Better for the cellar.
Price: $269.99

2010 Pavie, St-Emilion Pre-Arrival
Review Date: 5-17-2011
In that extracted, inky style, but I found this wine to have fine balance, freshness and charm. It is intense but not over the top like some others from the Right Bank.
Price: $389.99
