2011 Pape Clément, Pessac-Léognan Pre-Arrival
Review Date: 5-17-2012
Inky color, dark and toasty nose. This is very concentrated and layered, with tons of vanilla and spice. Definitely in a flashy style, but I like it. 90-92 points.

2011 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (1.5L) Pre-Arrival
Review Date: 5-17-2012
Compact. This wine’s tight palate is dense and concentrated, with a sweet core of black cherry and black berry fruit, lots of structure and power. Very dense, but the tannins are integrated and fleshy. 92-94 points.

2009 Atalon Napa Cabernet Sauvignon
Review Date: 3-12-2012
Fan's of fruit forward, riper Napa Cabernet's will really enjoy this wine, which shows spicy and bright aromas of clove, toasty oak and red currants. Tannins are present but are fruit driven and integrated. Tough to find a more user friendly Cabernet for under $25!

2001 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Review Date: 7-25-2011
The 2001 Caymus Special Select may go down as one of the finest Special Selects ever. I tasted this wine earlier this year up at the winery and it showed tremendous potential. Rich, spicy, deep and broad in the mouth, the wine is extracted and dense while not finishing hot or harsh. The tannins are definitely there but they are ripe and integrated. The 2001 is seriously good wine that should age well over the next 10+ years.

Arette Artesanal Blanco Suave Tequila 750ml
Review Date: 5-20-2008
Arette was founded in 1900 by the Orendain family. Since 1976 it has been produced and bottled by Eduardo and Jaime Orendain in their distillery “El Llano” in Tequila, Mexico. The Blanco is one of the most unique tequilas I have tasted yet. It is very bright and citric, with a lively palate and hints of oak. The Reposado is your sipping tequila: complex, deep and rich. Both are excellent, hand-crafted tequilas that I would highly recommend.
