Ariston Aspasie "Carte Blanche" Brut Champagne
Review Date: 7-31-2011
Wonderfully balanced bubbles for a wonderfully balanced price tag. The Carte Blanche is my most often used excuse to open bubble just for the sake of having a glass of Champagne, there are always a couple of bottles stashed away around my house. Powerfully elegant, with toasted nutty notes and a length on the finish that reasserts why I love this wine.
Price: $27.99
Marguet Pere et Fils "Cuvée Reserve" Brut Champagne
Review Date: 7-31-2011
Made from 100% Grand Cru fruit, wonderful Champagne. Rich but balanced, goes well with a myriad of food, like ice cream for dinner, any excuse for me to have Champagne with my whole meal.

2010 Gran Verano Sauvignon Blanc Colchagua Valley (3L Box) (cannot ship)
Review Date: 7-9-2011
What’s in the
box? Sauvignon Blanc! Specifically New World SB that’s done well, tastes good and begs for a place
in your fridge. Lime and orange notes abound, and there is an underlying weight and a silky
mouthfeel that belies its modest price. A lovely, refreshing drink to have on hand for summer

Grant "La Garrocha" Fino El Puerto de Santa Maria (375ml)
Review Date: 7-9-2011
This Fino Sherry is on the
fresher side of Sherry, with lovely clean lines and refreshing notes of white peach and other stone
fruits. What made this Sherry interesting to me was the mouth-coating glycerol quality and the
touch of baking spices and herbal nuances that float in and out, almost tantalizingly so. For being so
fresh, the wine coats your mouth in a luxurious way, making your want another sip
Price: $11.99
Antech "Brut Nature" Blanquette de Limoux
Review Date: 6-28-2011
The Antech is the kind of wine I love to drink during the Summer. Crisp, bright, core fruits, and bubbles! Life is too short to not make bubbly happen more often. Wonderfully refreshing by itself, and inexpensive enough for playing the part of bubbly in any cocktail.
Price: $12.99
Deligeroy Crémant de Loire Brut Rosé
Review Date: 2-28-2011
Rose with dark fruit and a very fine bubble structure for less than 15 dollars if just fine in my book. A glass of this on a sunny day while on a deck with a view would make this wine sing.

Avery Brewing Company "Joe's Pilsner" Pilsner, Colorado 12oz Cans
Review Date: 11-30-2010
Avery Brewing Company "Joe's Pilsner" Imperial Pilsner has been my after work beer since we have had it come in. This little pilsner is crisp, clean, and finishes dry. Avery Brewing Company took a very German styled approach to this beer, it is very reminiscent of the Jever pils with its bone dry finish. A great sit and unwind beer.

Tequila Fortaleza Reposado Tequila 750ml
Review Date: 11-30-2010
With the tequila market being such a competitive place these days, it is rare that a Tequila can clearly put itself above the rest. The Fortaleza Reposado is a study in old world crafting traditions and the superior product that can come from them. This Tequila tastes like Tequila, spicy and rich with undertones of vanilla to round out the palate, the care that goes into every bottle really comes through. One of the best Tequila’s on our shelf.

Urbanite Cellars "Redart" Red Blend
Review Date: 10-29-2010
The Redart is a balanced blend of Cab Syrah and Zin that makes a fantastic everyday drinker. The cabernet provides a solid core of structure and fruit that sets a stage for the Syrah and Zin to add complexity and depth. Great wine for weekday dinners.

2007 Rosenblum "Rockpile Road Vineyard" Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel
Review Date: 9-21-2010
Hailing from the famed Rockpile area in Dry Creek, Rosenblum’s offering of Zinfandel is my perennial favorite from their portfolio. Rich luscious fruit flavors in the darker spectrum of black berry and raspberry are intertwined with spice box and vanilla, the essential Zin pallet. I am currently drinking through 02 to 04 trying to nurse them slowly. Drinkable now, this wine is worth a try, and perhaps a retry.
