Looking for a great introduction to the world of English sparkling wine? This is your bottle. Very easy drinking, with slightly higher dosage than our other new English sparklers. Cranberry, red cherry, citrus and mineral, with a juicy, drinkable quality. Made in the traditional method. Adore Champagne? Try this!

The hunt is over: I've found my house wine for 2014! Black currant, Santa Rosa plum, mineral, dark sweet cherries, blackberry, sandalwood spice, hints of meat with medium plus acidity and fine, well-integrated tannin. This 7-year-old "mixed black" blend has incredible balance, elegance and grace. This is an absolute steal at $15.99! Buy it by the case--you will not be sorry!

2006 Lambuena Reserva Ribera del Duero
Review Date: 12-15-2013
Tinto Fino from 40-60 year old organically farmed vines, the 2006 Reserva from Lambuena is in a wonderful place for drinking now, but could easily cellar for another 10 years. Red cherry, sandalwood, cassis, black currant, chalky mineral, smoke, game, with sweet floral notes. Medium acidity with medium plus fine, well-integrated tannin. I have been waiting for the Lambuena wines to arrive for what feels like forever! As our first Direct Import from Ribera Del Duero, I couldn't be more proud of how these wines are showing! Salud!

2010 d'Arenberg "High Trellis" Cabernet Sauvignon McLaren Vale South Australia
Review Date: 12-9-2013
Concentrated, bright red cherry, cassis, plum, currant, and notes of sandalwood. Very elegant, with medium plus acidity and medium, well-integrated tannin. Ridiculously good. Completely bonkers that this old vine Cabernet Sauvignon is only $14.99! It beats the pants off of a lot of sub-$20 California Cabernet, but with the same generous fruit and great balance. This is one Cab to buy by the case- you will not be disappointed!

Michel Loriot "Palmyre" Brut Nature Champagne
Review Date: 12-1-2013
Raise your hand if you loved the Michel Loriot Extra Brut with the blue label! M. Loriot has revamped the look of his wines- the Palmyre is the Extra Brut you know and love! New labels include a disgorgement date, specific cepages, and QR code for scanning to learn more about his wines. That fabulous transparency aside, this wine continues to be a strong, delicoius, and nuanced. The disgorgement date of 8/2013 on this bottling is lovely- bright and lively, white flowers, citrus, mineral with a fine mousse and refreshing acidity. This continues to be one of my favorite (and my Mom's favorite!) Champagnes from the house of Loriot. Bravo!

2011 Public House White Wine
Review Date: 12-1-2013
Old vine riesling, gerwurtztraminer and pinot gris? Sign me up! This lovely, quaffable white actually tastes and smells like riesling, which for me personally, is crucial when selecting a riesling that comes from anywhere outside of Germany. Bright citrus notes, slate, mineral, stone fruit with refreshingly zippy acidity, with a teeeeeeeny hint of sweetness. At the staff tasting where we were introduced to this wine, I think every staff memeber left the room and immediately bought half a case. Hooray!

Clay and limestone soils here lend classic Pinot Noir character to this lovely, friendly Burgundy. Red roses, red cherry, cassis, strawberry, chalky blueberry with medium plus acidity and medium tannin. A wonderfully approachable example of a 2011 red burg.

Bruno Michel "Les Roses" Brut Rosť Champagne
Review Date: 10-26-2013
Every time I taste this Champagne, I want to sit and linger with it for the rest of the afternoon. It's a totally nerdy rose, unlike anything else we have. Barrel fermented, all Pinot Meunier and aged in bottle for a year, this particular bottling is all from 2006 fruit. Red cherry, spice, vanilla, leather, funky earth with medium plus acidity and a long finish. What a fabulous, fun rose Champagne!

2012 Au Bon Climat/K&L Wine Merchants "Bien Nacido Vineyard" Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir
Review Date: 9-30-2013
Thanks to our friends at Au Bon Climat, we have the great pleasure of offering you this special pinot noir, composed of the best fruit from the famous Bien Nacido vineyard. This K&L exclusive demonstrates the skill of winemaker Jim Clendenin- we asked for a very special cuvee just for our customers, and he has delivered! Red cherry, red roses, cranberry, red currant with notes of mineral and earth, spice and sandalwood. Bright, fresh medium plus acidity that will continue to knit together and gain even more complexity as time passes. Medium tannins make this drinkable and easy, but with significant complexity for the most discerning palate- the perfect Pinot Noir as we move into fall and the holiday season! (Don't forget, Thanksgiving is right around the corner!) Stock up!

Louis Bouillot Cremant de Bourgogne "Perle d'Aurore" Brut Rosť
Review Date: 9-3-2013
Man, I love this wine. I had this again the other evening with pank-crusted salmon and a spinach salad, and it was light, pretty and delicious. Soft raspberry, strawberry and citrus with the tiniest hint of sweetness. The acidity really worked with my salmon's fattiness. Of course, the wine's pink sparkly glimmer on the dinner table in my wine glasses added to the ambiance. Stock up for birthday celebrations, brunch, baby showers, or just because it's a Tuesday night!
