Festive fun and fruity, this is what Beaujolias nouveau is all about, celebrate the harvest and have a happy holiday, this wine reminds us of good old fashioned country wine, family style. props to the traditional label and old school bottle.

This wine is a real viable alternative to riesling when planning a meal. Flavors of green apple and cinnamon, complete with balanced minerality and acidity make it an outstanding food wine. Pair with classic foods such as bockwurst, weinerschnitzel, fleishknudel, warm potato salad, red cabbage, latkes, etc.Very smooth and great value price.

Anchor Brewing "Anchor Steam" 12oz

Anchor Steam is a world renowned ale. Goes great with lunch or dinner or to drink at the ball park. Malty bouquet, wonderful caramel color, fresh hops slowly explode in the mouth without being overbearing, and a lingering finish. I like to say "England meets California" in the way the malt and hops blend together to make a unique yet classic brew. One of my top 5 in the universe.

released at thanksgiving to celebrate the winter holidays, Anchor Brewing uses a different recipe each year for its Christmas ale. '09 is a smooth slightly spiced dark ale. Very well balanced compared to prior years, the '09 should be good til late '011 if cellared properly.

not bad, but not great, watermelon, nice acidity, but the finish was unbalanced creating the zinger. definitely pairs with grilled shrimp.
