Nose is predominantly honey and apricot, no sharpness at all. Palate is flavors of burnt caramel and spices, with a very smooth prominent finish (and aftertaste) of red grape. The finish is as mellow as some very aged single malts, which I think is pretty remarkable for such a young brandy. The price makes me think there's something to that meme going around lately that cognac is highly overrated, leading to premium prices for an often mediocre product.

Flavor profile is allegedly very similar to the original (early half of the 20th century) Kina Lillet, and goes well in cocktails such as the Vesper that make use of Kina Lillet.
