2008 Ruston "Lost Acre" Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
(out of stock)
Review Date: 3-7-2012
I enjoyed this wine and have more bottles to enjoy. Has some structure while delivering some depth. Alexander Valley is a nice alternate venue to Napa. I would say that the price point at the wine club price was an excellent value. At full price, I would not agree with another review that it can take on cabs at twice the price. But iIbought more, so I am in.

2009 Domaine Jean Descombes (Georges Duboeuf) Morgon
(out of stock)
Review Date: 5-18-2011
This was recommended by K&L staff member (I am terrible with names) when I decided to grab some more wine besides the two cases I was picking up. He said it was tasting beautifully. It is absolutely delicious. It is elegant with some depth but just a yummy wine. Great price point and I have already ordered some more for great summer red drinking. Gamay's are underappreciated, as I am just beginning to aqppreciate them. This is one that I think most if not all will like.

2007 Laboure Roi Bourgogne Blanc "Maximum"
(out of stock)
Review Date: 9-3-2010
Second Review: Just as bad as the first time. I can't believe K&L is pushing this. It is by far the worst wine I have ever bought from them and I wonder why it it featured???
1st Review: I wasn't thrilled with this. Only tasted one bottle of the three that I bought. Maybe it was corked, but it tasty a bit too grassy, even a bit moldy. Will try another at some point and put up another review if I change my mind.

2009 Lioco Sonoma County Chardonnay
(out of stock)

I agree this is actually better than the 2008. Really rich. Perfect with food or just sipping. Will hold up to most dishes - would rather say game or pork for something this big. It is substantial. Just delicious

2007 Spring Valley Vineyard "Uriah" Walla Walla Valley Red Wine
Review Date: 8-18-2010
Year in, year out, the Uriah from Spring Valley is one of my favorite wines. It is just so yummy - structure, some tannins, fruit, all there. And the finish lingers. If you have not tried this one yet, do it. This wine would easily be double if it were from Napa or Sonoma fruit.

2005 Seresin "Leah" Pinot Noir Marlborough New Zealand
(out of stock)
Review Date: 8-18-2010
Nice wine, nice price. I have always been a fan of the Seresin Sauv, so thought I would check this one out. Enjoyed it, nice fruit, a little earthiness. Overall quite pleasing. And I love screwcaps - I wish all wines would go that way. The day of the cork should be over.

2007 Mollydooker "Blue Eyed Boy" Shiraz South Australia
(out of stock)
Review Date: 12-12-2009
I am usually a big fan of Mollydooker, but I was not blown away by this wine. There were things to like but just to hot from an alcohol perspective. 16.5% is quite high. But maybe in a few years it will evolve.
Price: $44.90
