2009 Marisa Cuomo "Ravello" Costa d'Amalfi Bianco

This was an excellent wine. Quite delicate and it tickled several senses. . I like the term honeysuckle to describe the bouquet because there was a streak of honey but it was also flowery. The texture is different too. Not quite waxy. I was happy to find more available. It was recommended by Chris Miller in the Hollywood K&L store

1989 Bollig-Lehnert Piesporter Goldtropfchen Spätlese

This is an excellent wine and underpriced at $19. On the nose I get diesel and some perfume of honey. On the palate, apple and nuttiness with some honey on the finish. Sweet but balanced by good acidity. This will hold maybe get better for another five to 10 years. Just pure, focused riesling.
