The sample I tried was an early committee bottling and I thought it was pretty special. Nice and smoky but not overpowering, smooth and warming with nice fruity notes and a very nice finish. - For a 12YO it is remarkably mature and in my opinion warrants the price point. Remembering how different the committee Alligator was from the production bottling though I will need to get a regular bottle to compare.
