2009 Les Chancelieres Vouvray

I bought this last Christmas in hopes of finding a wine that would remind us of our trip to Vouvray a couple years ago. I was trying to find a sweet dessert wine, and this was not it.
Granted, it's not listed as such, but still I was hoping it would be a bit sweeter than it was. Specially since we drank it with dessert, it tasted very bitter.
I tried it again a while later after rinsing the sweet dessert out of my mouth, and it wasn't so bitter. As the others said, it would go much better solo, or with fish or cheese than something sweet. Enjoy!
