2010 Michel Gassier "Cercius" Côtes-du-Rhône Vieilles Vignes

This wine is so luscious I can't believe it's only $15! It's big and round, with delicious concentrated fruit and a perfect amount of pepper and licorice spice to balance it out! It could definitely benefit from a couple more years of aging, but this is so good waiting that long is not going to be easy!
2009 Charly Thevenet Regnie "Grain & Granit"

This is a Beaujolais for Burgundy to be proud of, and transcends everything I (thought that I) knew about Gamay! I just love the layered, concentrated fruity and earthy flavors, and even detected some soft tannins. Not to be confused with that juicy "est arrive" stuff, this is seriously delicious wine! (Hint: Give it a little time to open up and the fruit comes more forward.)

This Pinot really is an outstanding value at $15! Not too complex but very approachable with lovely fruit, soft spiciness and nice acid balance; a perfect "any day" wine that will pair very nicely with "everyday" foods.

Hollywood K&L staff member Chris recommended this to me (thank you!). This is an outstanding value for an everyday "light & bright" white. In theory it'll last for weeks in the fridge (my box was a household hit and didn't make it nearly so long). So cast away any pretentious prejudgments and give it a try, you could easily spend as much on a single bottle that isn't this tasty!
