2007 E. Guigal Côtes du Rhône

The 2007 Guigal CduR conjurs the word "cyclopean." It has a very shy nose but it kicks in the mouth like a wild mule! and then goes down like silk. It reminds me of a solid Aussie Shiraz but with blazing acidity. It was perfect with Osso Bucco last night and Ratatouille on bulgur wheat tonight. Best red wine under $15 I've had in a really long time. Must decant, but clearly ready for consumption. This is one to consider for that case purchase.
