Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Aged 24 months in new French oak, this infant 2007 exhibits an inky/purple color along with notes of graphite, spring flowers and smoky oak. This full-bodied, classic Insignia reveals fabulous depth, ripeness, texture, viscosity and richness. Still young and unformed, it should evolve for 25 or more years. (RP)" (11/2013)

2012 Kosta Browne "Koplen Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Kosta Browne "Koplen Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (95CG, 93RP, 92ST, 91VN). Connoisseurs Guide: "We are more than impressed by the new Kosta Browne line-up, and picking favorites from so many good wines is a difficult, if happy, task. That said this bottle is so well-balanced and generously endowed with definitive varietal fruit that it vies for a place at the head of class. Its themes of optimally ripened cherries are enriched with very sensible sweet oak, and it shows a slight bit of structural sinew under its ample flesh, but it is never heavy or in any way tough, and its future is as sure as a sure thing can be. *Three Stars*" (07/2014)

2013 Merry Edwards "Georganne" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Merry Edwards "Georganne" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (92RP, 92VN, 90BH, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Pinot Noir Georganne Vineyard comes from a vineyard on Westside Road and is planted with Merry Edward’s favorite clone of Pinot Noir, UCD 37. Slightly more earthy and large-boned than her other cuvées, the wine is tannic, firm and Pommard-like in its masculinity muscle. There is a lot going on, with plenty of black cherry and blackcurrant fruit, underlying earthiness and spice. Forget this for several years and drink it over the following 15 years. This could be her Pommard Premier Cru from the Russian River. 92+ (RP)" (03/2016)

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (97WE, 96WS, 95CG, 94RP, 93VN). Wine Enthusiast: " *Cellar Selection* This is clearly one of the greatest Shafer Hillside Selects ever. It shows incredibly concentrated blackberry, dark chocolate and ripe cassis flavors, wrapped into impeccably rich tannins. Made from 100% Cabernet, it’s a superb example of Hillside. Tasted from the same bottle a day later, the wine was even richer and more satisfying, which is a solid indicator of ageworthiness." (12/2013)

2006 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2006 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is big, dark and juicy. There is an element of wildness that runs through the wine. Graphite, licorice, tar and smoke are just some of the nuances that add complexity. The 2006 boasts superb purity from start to finish. Elements of fleshiness give the impression the 2006 might drink well relatively early, until the massive tannins set in. Floral notes add freshness on the finish. This is another fabulous wine from Randy Dunn. Anticipated maturity: 2016-2036. (AG)" (12/2011)

2009 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma-Napa Counties Claret
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2009 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma-Napa Counties Claret (94RP, 93ST, 93WS, 92WE, 90CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Merlot-based 2009 Claret Reserve is gorgeous. Juicy dark cherries, tobacco, smoke and cloves jump out of the glass. The Merlot gives the wine much of its suppleness, while the Cabernet adds the structure and pure mountain tannin. Even with all of its richness, the 2009 remains light on its feet for such a big wine. The 2009 boasts striking balance and tons of harmony. The blend is two-thirds Merlot and one-third Cabernet Sauvignon. Naturally, the Claret doesn't have the personality of the estate's variety wines, but it is compelling just the same. Anticipated maturity: 2017-2029. (AG) 94+" (12/2012)

Vinous: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Lewelling Ranch is bright, focused and nuanced, with striking aromatics and quite a bit of complexity. Understated and classy, with attractive freshness and tons of finesse, the Lewelling Ranch shows the more polished style of the year. Even so, there is plenty of underlying tannic grip. 2006 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2006 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Bordeaux Blend (92RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are 2200 cases of the 2006 Red Wine, a blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot, and the balance Petit Verdot and Malbec. While not at the quality level of the top wines, it is a fine introduction to the house style at a very fair price. Dark ruby-colored, it displays a bouquet of cigar box, pencil lead, violets, black currant, and a hint of licorice. Medium to full-bodied, intensely fruited, and with enough structure to evolve for 2-3 years, this lengthy effort will drink well from 2011 to 2018. (JM)" (10/2009)

2012 Neal Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 11-bottle lot of 2012 Neal Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Tasting notes from the winery: "After the difficult 2010 and 2011 growing seasons, 2012 was well received by most all growers in Napa Valley. Summer temperatures were warm but not too hot, with cool nights both on the valley floor as well as our mountain estate. There was the typical valley morning fog, but most days were sunny with moderate temperatures and no major heat waves or wet weather. Almost perfect late summer and early fall conditions created a fairly long harvest. It allowed fruit maturity to develop slowly, resulting in balanced chemistry and lovely flavors. This vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon shows intense aromas of blackberry and red cherry fruit, spice and baked sugar tempered by a subtle amount of new French oak. Being 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from small berry vineyards, it is very dark in color and has a moderately high amount of velvety tannins, creating a firm, complex mouthful of flavors.

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Williams Selyem "Allen Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (92ST, 91WS, 90CG). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright yellow-gold. Poached pear, lemon curd and vanilla on the highly perfumed nose. Lush and weighty on entry, then tighter in the mid-palate, offering potent orchard fruit and floral flavors and a sexy vanilla note. Displays a suave blend of richness and vivacity and finishes with impressive thrust and clinging spiciness. (ST)" (05/2012)

Bid on this bottle of 1998 Bruno Giacosa "Santo Stefano" Barbaresco Riserva (94ST, 94VN, 93WS, 92RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Medium red. Deep, expressive aromas of red fruits, minerals, dried flowers, roasted herbs, tar and camphor; I might have picked this blind as Barolo. Complex, penetrating, traditionally made wine with great verve and insinuating inner-mouth perfume. Urgent cherry, floral and spice flavors. Hugely tannic and very long; this multidimensional Barbaresco went into a shell in the glass. My score may prove to be conservative. (ST) 94+" (11/2002)

2007 Schrader "Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer George III Vineyard comes from clone 337, from a Beckstoffer-owned vineyard in Rutherford. Its dense purple color is followed by a big, sweet nose of black cherries, black currants, cedar, spice box, and subtle oak. Enormously concentrated and full-bodied with superb minerality as well as tannic structure, it will benefit from 4-5 years of bottle age, and should evolve for three decades. (RP) 97+" (12/2008)

Brooding aromas of cassis, black cherry, minerals, smoke and licorice are lifted by a violet topnote. Densely packed, ripe and seamless, with lovely depth and complexity to its claret-like flavors of currant, minerals and tobacco leaf. Really spreads out to saturate the palate on the long back end, which features building tannins and persistent sweetness of fruit. This very harmonious wine promises to be fat and rich for Viader's flagship blend. (ST)" (05/2014)

2013 Saxum "Bone Rock - James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Syrah
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Saxum "Bone Rock - James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Syrah (99RP, 96WS, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Flirting with perfection, the 2013 Syrah James Berry Vineyard Bone Rock is one of the wines of the vintage. Made from 80% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre and 5% each of Grenache and Roussanne, which saw a big chuck of whole clusters, it offers sensational aromas and flavors of black raspberries, violets, pepper and crushed rock that literally come leaping out of the glass. Full-bodied, seamless, elegant, yet concentrated and incredibly pure, with a finish that won't quit, this beauty will stand beside some of the greatest Hermitages out there. Give bottles 3-4 years and enjoy over the following 10-15 years. Unfortunately, due to ridiculously low yields, there won't be a Bone Rock released in 2014 or 2015, so don't miss this beauty! Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Outpost "True Vineyard-Immigrant" Howell Mountain Bordeaux Blend (94RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An intriguing blend, the 2013 True Vineyard Immigrant is composed of 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc and 32% Merlot aged in 67% new French oak for 20 months. This is a great showing in a complex wine, with notes of white chocolate, forest floor, blueberry and black raspberry. It’s intense and full without being heavy, attributable to the Cabernet Franc component. This wine has great color, already burgeoning complexity, and gorgeous texture and length. 1985 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "Cask 23" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 1985 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "Cask 23" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This wine is unquestionably one of the super-stars of the 1985 vintage. Previously, I have consistently rated it from the mid to upper nineties in all my tastings... It exhibited some of the intense, exotic perfume (hickory smoke, blackcurrants, vanilla, and Asian spices) and sweet, opulent, fleshy palate it has always possessed, but the tannin was more noticeable and the wine was more structured, as well as extremely youthful and unevolved. This rich, full-bodied Cask 23 appears to have developed a greater sense of delineation. It may be even longer-lived than I initially expected. I suspect that if this particular bottle had not been stored in such a cold cellar (my own), the wine may have been more forward and advanced. This is a great, young, extremely complex and compelling California Cabernet Sauvignon-based wine that should age effortlessly.

1966 Beychevelle, St-Julien
Bid on this bottle of 1966 Beychevelle, St-Julien (93JG). John Gilman: "Beychevelle in this era has to be one of the great unsung stars of the Médoc, and the 1966 is certainly one of the prettiest and most stunning bottles that I have tasted from this lovely château. The nose on the ’66 Beychevelle absolutely soars from the glass in a brilliant mélange of black berries, raspberries, a classic touch of Beychevelle meatiness, anise, black truffles, a whiff of mint leaf, a lovely base of earth and a pungent topnote of violet. On the palate the wine is medium-full, elegant and refined, with lovely intensity of flavor, flawless balance, and a very long, meltingly tannic, utterly refined and bouncy finish. This is one of the great sleepers still to be found in the mature claret market. A hauntingly beautiful bottle of wine cut in the Palmer mould, or more correctly, a classic Beychevelle. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1994 La Mission Haut-Brion Rouge, Pessac-Léognan ((91-93ST), 92RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Very good full color. More discreet, brooding aromas of black cherry, leather and smoke, plus a faint burnt quality that characterizes this wine in the riper years. Lovely intensity and purity of fruit in the mouth; sound acids give the wine excellent definition and backbone. Very ripe aftertaste, with dusty, even tannins. Bid on this bottle of 2007 Antinori "Tignanello" Toscana (95RP, 95VN, 94WE, 92WS, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Tignanello is ripe with promise for the future. The wine has just started its evolutionary track with aromas of blackcurrant, dried blackberry and cherry. This was a warm but balanced vintage that shows beautiful results today and exceeds my already high expectations. There is a steady thickness and determination to the wine that carries it forward. This was the last vintage made in the Tignanello winery before the structure saw a major overhaul. Given the staying power of this historic wine, I feel that this vintage will hold easily for another 20 years or more. (ML)" (10/2015)

1989 Montrose, St-Estèphe
Bid on this bottle of 1989 Montrose, St-Estèphe (100RP, 99JS, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: " .... Lucid in color, the aromatics do not hold back with vibrant blackberry, blueberry and black truffle, hints of sous-bois, all with sensational precision that few can match in this vintage (indeed, its precision lends it a veneer of modernity since "precision" is now more commonplace across Bordeaux). The palate is brilliantly balanced with filigree tannin. There is wonderful backbone here, extremely fresh and tensile, crystalline even with an exceptional detail, mineral-rich finish that lingers in the mouth. Difficult to fault, this might well be the greatest 1989 Montrose that I have tasted, and certainly wishing to take nothing away from the 1990 Montrose that I tasted alongside, the 1989 is now the one I would pick. Is this the greatest Saint Estèphe of the 1980s? I would put it within the top five Bordeaux of the 1980s. Could this be inching its way to perfection??? Tasted June

This full-bodied, classic Insignia reveals fabulous depth, ripeness, texture, viscosity and richness. Still young and unformed, it should evolve for 25 or more years. 2003 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 2003 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (96RP, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Current vintages of the luxury cuvee, the Cabernet Sauvignon Special Selection, are bottled much earlier than in the past and they remain one of Napa’s most classic Cabernets. The 2003’s opaque purple color suggests a wine much younger than ten years of age. Copious amounts of creme de cassis, graphite, spice box and a whiff of new saddle leather result in a classic, authoritative, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with no hard edges. This big, mouthfilling, textured, multidimensional Cabernet still tastes like an adolescent, and is capable of lasting another 15-20 years. Some tannins are present, but their sweetness along with the wine’s voluptuous character are irresistible. (RP)" (06/2013)

Most of the fruit comes from the Stagecoach Vineyard and the Waters Ranch. Sweet, smoky, meaty aromas interwoven with melted asphalt, camphor, blackberry, cassis, and charcoal scents emerge from the complex aromatics. In the mouth, the wine is full-bodied, displaying sweet tannin, a concentrated mouthfeel, and a long, heady finish with substantial fruit, glycerin, and extract. It should drink beautifully for 20+ years. (RP)" (12/2008)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Domaine Groffier Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "Amoureuses" (91ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good medium red. Extroverted nose offers black raspberry and smoked meat; still a hint of reduction. Dense and sweet but more vibrant than the Sentiers. Very concentrated and very long, with the finishing fruit saturating the palate. This is even a bit tight on the back end, a positive sign for the wine's likely evolution in bottle. 2000 d'Issan, Margaux
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 d'Issan, Margaux (93RP, 92W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Fully mature, the 2000 D’Issan is a quintessentially elegant, yet concentrated, aristocratic Margaux that defines the appellation. The wine has a dark ruby/purple color just beginning to lighten at the edge. Notes of charcoal, acacia flowers, black raspberries, and blue fruits are followed by a medium to full-bodied wine that builds incrementally on the palate. With its outstanding purity, richness, elegance and length, this is a beauty that has reached its window of maturity, where it should stay for another 15 or more years. (RP)" (06/2010)

Bid on this bottle of 1998 Penfolds "Grange" Shiraz South Australia (98RP, 97ST, 97WS, 95W&S, 95WE, 94JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A wine that flirts with perfection, and should rival the 1986 as one of the legendary Granges produced, the 1998 has one of the highest alcohol contents (nearly 15%) as well as one of the highest percentages of Shiraz in the blend (97%). Its stunning purple color is accompanied by exceptionally sweet aromas of blackberry liqueur intermixed with barbecue spices, an endearing, smoky earthiness, pepper, roasted meats, and coffee. Huge, massive, unctuously textured, and extraordinarily youthful, this impressive wine is a candidate for perfection. It should continue to evolve over the next three decades. (RP) 98+" (06/2009)

Cassis, blackberries, and toast are found in its sweet aromas. Hugely powerful and robust, this medium to full-bodied wine has awesome power, density, depth, and concentration. Mouth-staining, it conquers the palate with spicy black currants, blackberries, tar, and licorice. This highly structured, ripe tannin-packed wine should easily stand the test of time. Bid on this 2-half-bottle lot of 2001 La Tour Blanche, Sauternes (375ml) (97RP, 93WS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "La Tour Blanche's spectacular 2001 boasts a light to medium gold color as well as a big, exotic nose of tropical fruits, honeysuckle, orange marmalade, and creme brulee. In the mouth, notions of peaches, lychees, and caramelized citrus give way to a weighty, full-bodied, concentrated yet incredibly precise and well-delineated sweet white. 2001 La Tour Blanche, Sauternes
Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2001 La Tour Blanche, Sauternes (96RP, 93WS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The La Tour Blanche 2001 has long been the “insiders’ Sauternes” for the vintage. Leave the Yquem ’01 for the millionaires: load up on one of the finest recent vintages from the estate. It has a potent honeyed, frangipane and white flower-scented bouquet with subtle nougat scents in the background lending it an exotic edge. The palate is extremely well balanced with fine acidity effortlessly slicing a swathe through that unctuous, honeyed fruit. There are also understated marmalade notes with a suggestion of crème brûlée furnishing the weighty finish that goes on and on. Just don’t tell anyone how good this La Tour Blanche is...promise?
